Mrs. Louise Khurshid was a journalist for 22 years, working in varied publications such as Deccan Herald, Business Standard, Sunday, The Telegraph, Hindustan Times and Onlooker. From 2002-2007 she represented the Kaimganj Constituency as an M.L.A. in the U.P. Assembly. She works extensively in the area of Social Service and Education through her association with several organisations in these sectors.
Montek Singh Ahluwalia
former Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission
Montek Singh Ahluwalia is an Indian economist and civil servant who was the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission of the Republic of India, a position which carries the rank of a Cabinet Minister. He was previously the first Director of the Independent Evaluation Office at the International Monetary Fund. The President of India awarded him the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian honour for public service.
